My Wedding Weekend

This past weekend was SO fantastic, wedding-wise.
It actually started on Thursday, at the Wedding Suite at Nordstrom's in Topanga Canyon. Michael Underwood, with A Model Wedding was shooting the event for Nordstroms, and he was so funny! The models on this pedastal rotated in different dresses every 15 minutes, and he became obsessed at getting the actual moment of transition, when they handed their bouqets off to the next trio. And he got it, he got it!

And, if you're still looking for a photographer, check out the website - his rates are pretty reasonable for the work and for this town, seriously.

On Sunday, I was another photographer friend, April Rocha, manning her booth at A Soolip Wedding. Wow, what a show! So much Gorgeous in one place - the flowers, the huge spread of appetizers ,the desserts. Go take a look at my twitter feed that day for details of the awesomeness. Here's a couple of pics:

Here's April's booth. This is one of my favorite pictures of anything - that's the moon rising behind the bride and groom. April does fantastic, vintagy-style photographs. And she'd even constructed a photo booth behind the table which was pretty popular. I helped!

More tomorrow, but April is also offering a great bonus if you book with her this month. I won't go into it, but let's just say you can book with her, or you can pay extra for it on March 11th. . .And check out the slideshow of all the photo booth pics on her blog.

So Simple, yet so breathtaking, by Krista Jon Couture. And as I said on twitter, there was no reason to eat breakfast or lunch, because they had passed appetizers (mini-turkey burgers, bruschetta and shrimp) and this huge cheese table. And more candy buffet tables with more stuff that I'd never heard of (ginger gummy bears?). Such a great time.
Here's a couple of great pics by Jen O'Sullivan, too:

Did anyone else get to the show? What was your favorite thing there?

See you at the end of the aisle,
