Thurday is For Tips...WEDDING TIPS!

Liz's Tip of the Day: Yesterday I had a phone consult with a bride who has a photographer, but no videographer, and has a caterer but no bartender, so she needed referrals. Easy, I told her. You're caterer works with bartenders all the time, so ask who they like working with. Same thing with your photographer, he probably has videographers he/she recommends all the time, because they're easy to work with. It's just one way to make sure your vendors are familiar with each other and can stay out of each other's way.

Weddingish's Tip of the Day: Weddingish Daily Tip: Spritz your wedding invitations with a scent that relays something about the wedding location or season; it will give guests a sneak preview.
(I'm putting together Ellen and Patrick's invites this weekend, and I am SO doing this!)

The Bridal Show and How to Swing It

Since I gave you a list of like, FIFTY Bridal Shows coming up this Sunday, I thought it would be a good time for you to review my pointers for getting through them without going nuts.

His Bachelor Party - To Chill or Not to Chill

My sis-in-law is Tristan Coopersmith, is the author of
"MENu DATING : Taste Test Your Way to the Main Course!", and she's L.A.'s resident dating guru, you know. She works with women starting the race and I get them at the finish line, but sometimes our two worlds collide. Case in point, her new blog post - Sin City Sans You: 8 Reasons You Should Let Your Man Go To Vegas Without You. Tristan says: CHILL.

Breaking Bridal News:

Chia Lieu is auctioning a $2600 Wedding Gown (might not be this one), benefiting the Make a Wish foundation at the Bride Expo this Sunday at the Nixon Library in Yorba Linda - bids start at $50.00!

I might actually be hitting TWO bridal shows on Sunday - the one at Knotts (conveniently located near Disneyland, but we've already talked about that) and the one at the Nixon library. If anyone would like to tag along for a tour, lemme know.

See you at the end of the aisle,

Liz Coopersmith
